2027How does it work?
LocoPilote is an application installed on your PC. It talks directly to your DCC command station, depending on the model:
- →Over USB serial for DR5000 command stations (XpressNet)
- →Over the local network (IP) for Z21 command stations
- →Your account handles the licence and the synchronisation of your data
- →The software works offline once activated
- →Automatic background updates
Minimum requirements
- •Windows 10 64-bit (build 1809+) or Windows 11
- •Dual-core 2 GHz processor (Intel Core i3 / AMD Ryzen 3 or equivalent)
- •4 GB of RAM
- •500 MB of available disk space
- •1280 × 720 resolution
- •USB port (serial command station such as the DR5000) or Ethernet/Wi-Fi network (Z21)
- •Internet connection for licence activation and synchronisation (works offline afterwards)

No external dependencies. LocoPilote is a standalone application: the runtime (Chromium + Node.js) is built into the installer. No .NET, no Java, no runtime to install separately. Download, install, launch.
